Swan Murdered on Resser

Following the fatal shooting of one swan and several ducks at Harrington Reservoir on Moorclose Road, a reward of £300 is now being offered for any information leading to the successful prosecution of the individual(s) responsible.

Swans belong to the Queen under an ancient charter and have special protection under the Wildlife and Countryside Act. Anyone who harms them can be fined £5,000 or jailed for six months.
