A group of schoolchildren from about 1918 photographed in Harrington St Mary's school. This is just one of a collection of old photo's which the group have aquired.We are in the process of publishing a book of the local history of Salterbeck and with a bit of luck it should be ready for sale before this Christmas(2004).The group meets every Thursday in the Oval Centre in Salterbeck at 2pm and we would be delighted to meet any interested old Salterbeckonians(and young ones as well!!).Please come along and have a "crack" with the group.
